Throughout this school year, we are following in Mother Teresa's footsteps and adopting her call to “do small things with great love” as our school theme. It is our hope to instill the values of service and community outreach in our students through new service projects, class buddies, and relating to the lives of saints in our monthly virtue program. We may be a small school, but we hope to be mighty in our actions and deeds.  

I invite you to join us in doing small things with great love by giving to our Annual School Appeal. Every school day is made up of many small things–a friendly greeting by staff as students are dropped off; a patient teacher’s connection with students as they acquire new knowledge and understanding; a nurturing presence as a band-aid is applied after a playground mishap; a student’s kind invitation to a new student to play together at recess; and on and on. These small things are the fabric of our community–a school family that has extended through so many generations. 

We have so much to celebrate at St. Rose School!  We take pride in being one of the biggest missions in outreach of the parish. We have welcomed and retained over 50 new students throughout the pandemic and have hired additional staff members to balance our increasing enrollment. With that growth comes a greater need for financial assistance for our families as well as an increase in operational costs. We simply cannot live our mission without your help.  

There is no doubt that your financial support with educating our students is essential—over 55% of our school families receive some type of assistance to help offset the cost of a Catholic education. The annual School Appeal is integral in helping to fund our yearly scholarships for our students. With your help, we are hoping to reach our goal of $50,000 to continue providing a nurturing, academically rigorous, Christ-centered education for our students.
