Pope Francis said, “gratitude is a flower that blooms in noble souls.” As a school community, we continue to have so much to be grateful for. Our students have been learning five days a week in our building since September 2nd. Through the current pandemic, St. Rose School has shown its resiliency by continuing to provide a faith-filled education to each and every one of our students, whether attending in person or learning from home. Each day, we continue to instill hope in our future leaders, challenge our students to work to their full potential and shine Christ’s love through words, deeds, and actions.
Although this year looks much different than usual, we are continuously inspired by support from our community. Words cannot express enough gratitude to our teachers who are adapting and changing curriculum, supporting all learners, and providing a safe atmosphere for each and every one of our students. We are grateful for our community supporters who have contributed to fundraisers, offered monetary donations to assist with expenses, and have sent cards with prayers and well wishes. We are extremely blessed to have a community who loves and supports our mission.
There is no doubt that your assistance with educating our students is essential—over 64% of our school families receive some type of assistance to help offset the cost of a Catholic education. The annual School Appeal is integral in helping to fund our yearly scholarships for our students. With your help, we are hoping to reach our goal of $40,000 to continue to provide a rigorous, Christ-centered education for our students throughout this area.
Even in these uncertain times, we kindly ask that you consider a donation to our 2020 School Appeal. Please return the enclosed envelope with your donation or make a contribution on our website on our home page. Thank you for your faithful generosity! Please continue to keep our staff, students and community in your thoughts and prayers.
